What is a StorySLAM?

A StorySLAM is a live storytelling competition, similar to a poetry slam. Storytellers (slammers) have 5 minutes each to tell a story based on a chosen theme. Notes are not allowed – stories must be told and not read. After the storyteller is done, judges, chosen from the audience, vote on the performance.

Theme: CHANGE

Change can mean the coins in your pocket or a fresh set of clothes, but it can also be a shift in perspective or the transformation or mutation of the world around you. Change is the story that never stops, always adding a new chapter just when we think we’ve reached the end.
